Game Rules – TrickRush Rummy
TrickRush follows standard Indian Rummy rules that are based on skill, fairness, and structured gameplay. These rules apply to all formats including Points Rummy, Pool Rummy, and Deals Rummy. By playing on TrickRush, you agree to abide by the rules outlined below.
1. Objective of the Game
The goal in rummy is to form valid sets and sequences using the 13 cards dealt to you. To win, a player must declare a hand that contains:
- At least two sequences
- At least one pure sequence (without using a joker)
- All 13 cards arranged in valid sequences or sets
2. Card Distribution
At the beginning of each round, every player is dealt 13 cards from two shuffled standard decks. One card is randomly selected as the "wild joker". This card and all others of the same rank in other suits act as jokers.
3. Types of Sequences
- Pure Sequence: A sequence of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit without using a joker.
- Impure Sequence: A sequence of 3 or more cards where one or more jokers are used to substitute missing cards.
4. Types of Sets
A set is a group of 3 or 4 cards of the same rank but from different suits. Jokers can be used in sets, but a set should not contain more than one card from the same suit.
5. Valid Declaration
A player can declare when they have formed a valid hand (as per rules above). The system automatically checks the hand for validity. A successful declaration wins the game; an invalid one results in penalty points.
6. Scoring System
The player who declares first with a valid hand gets 0 points. The remaining players get points based on the value of their unmatched cards:
- Face Cards (J, Q, K, A) and jokers = 10 points
- Number cards = face value
- Maximum penalty in a single round = 80 points
7. Drop Rules
- First Drop: 20 points
- Middle Drop: 40 points
- If a player is timed out or doesn't play: 40/80 points depending on format
8. Game Formats on TrickRush
- Points Rummy: Each point has a monetary value. The winner takes all based on other players' points.
- Pool Rummy: Players are eliminated once they cross a certain point limit (101 or 201).
- Deals Rummy: Fixed number of deals. Player with highest chips at the end wins.
9. Joker Rules
Both printed jokers and wild jokers can be used to form impure sequences or sets. However, they cannot be used in a pure sequence. At least one pure sequence is mandatory for a valid declaration.
10. Time Limit Per Turn
Each player has a limited amount of time (typically 30 seconds) to play their turn. Failure to act within the time results in automatic drop or penalty as per format rules.
11. Disconnection Policy
If a player is disconnected due to technical reasons, the system allows automatic reconnection. However, if the player fails to return within the allowed time, the system may drop the player and assign penalty points.
12. Fair Play Policy
TrickRush has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating, collusion, and use of bots. Accounts involved in such behavior will be permanently banned and winnings forfeited.
